Batik Air is delighted to announce the reopening of the highly anticipated route between Subang SkyPark (recognized as Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport) and Penang International Airport, starting on August 1, 2024.

Initially, this route will operate with three flights weekly, expanding to daily service beginning August 15, 2024. This enhancement will provide travelers with more flexible scheduling options, ensuring greater convenience for all passengers.

This reopening marks a significant milestone for Batik Air, as the service will utilize B737 aircraft, offering an enhanced travel experience with spacious seating and comfortable legroom — a notable upgrade from the ATR aircraft previously used for all services, including to Penang (PEN) via Subang SkyPark (SZB), before the suspension in February.
